Comments: (1/2/11) - "This was "first class" all the way around. Julia met us out by the interstate and escorted us the rest of the way, helped us get horses settled in, offered shower facilities and I need to mention this was on Christmas evening. Then she brought us muffins in the morning to get us on our way. Her barn was very clean and organized. Anyone needing to lay over in Alabama should look her up. You won't be sorry.". . . (5/31/11) - "We have stayed at other horse hotels in the past, but this farm is really superlative. The stalls are extremely clean and the turnout is great. We enjoyed meeting Julie and her clan, and felt like we had made new friends when we left. Highly recommend.". . . (10/2/11) - "Our stay at Wadsworth Farm was perfect. Clean, well kept and quiet. We stayed in our LQ and were thrilled with the clean bathroom and shower only steps from our door which helped us keep from filling up our waste tanks. Julia was waiting for us when we drove up and was very helpful. Top notch and highly recommended!". . . (12/2/11) - "Received excellent care for horse and human alike! Will definitely stay at Ms. Wadsworth's for future trips.". . . (1/11/12) - "Julie met us and guided us in, helped us settle the horses in for the night, and our accomodations were excellent. She brought us pumpkin bread the next morning and made the coffee. Then we had a very nice visit with Julie before we loaded to leave. It was the highlight of a long trip and we will definitely plan to stop there again even if we do not have horses with us.". . . (9/28/12) - " Delightful stay with a delightful host(ess). Julie Wadsworth was there to greet us and get us set up with a beautiful, lush pasture for our horses and a perfect hook-up for our rig. The use of the bathroom was an added bonus. First rate facility; highly recommend.". . . (7/25/13) - "The mules had a large pasture space to run free. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sleeping areas for people are in the barn, so very close to your equines. The barn is a "show horse" barn, which was a treat for us to visit. The owner baked us wonderful muffins, and couldn't have been more gracious. An added surprise for us native Texans was a wonderful Mexican restaurant in the town of Ashville.". . . (7/20/14) - "Julie, was a wonderful host. Her facilities were extremely clean and safe. She has a beautiful place and it was perfect for us. We will be staying with her again!". . . (1/22/16) - "Very nice setup. Great accommodations for both people and horses. Our horses had a great time running around in the pasture and stretching their legs after our long trip. Thanks so much!"

Comments: (11/30/08) - "Thanks for having us! You guys were so friendly, way before we arrived and very helpful! I know you were adding more pens to your facility when we came through, and it worked out great to have Uh-oh stay in the round pen since he isn't a 'stall' kind of horse. I'm excited to see what you've done with the place since we came through, and we would highly recommend this as a safe place to keep overnight horses. Hopefully the next time we'll have accommodations to stay in our trailer, it would be nice to stay out there, too! Beautiful place, easy highway access, and very nice folks! God Bless!". . . (8/5/09) - "Jason and Angela are wonderful! This was the first time that we were traveling a long distance with our horse and they were great with any questions we had. The facility is beautiful. Our horse really seemed to enjoy herself there. She had so much fun she definitely took her time eating in the morning so she wouldn't have to load in the trailer. It wasn't too far off the road and pretty easy to find and not too far from a hotel for us to stay in. I would recommend this horse hotel to anyone traveling. Jason and Angela rock!". . . (3/8/11) - "Enough great things could not be said of this host and his family. Great hospitality and Jason went beyond the call of duty to help with a critical maintenance issue of ours. He knows all the mechanical and tire shops in the area. The best recommendation of all is that we will certainly be staying there again. Exceptionally nice stalls and hookups next to the barn. Extremely secure.". . . (9/26/11) - "The Wilds family are mighty welcoming and the equine accommodations are luxurious. We felt totally secure, and even pampered, leaving our equines in their care. Highly recommended.". . . (9/16/13) - "Second year staying and just as happy as first. Jason n family take wonderful care of horses and motels within 1 exit. Highly recommend.". . . (3/16/14) - "The Wilds are awesome!! The entire family is precious. I stayed three times in two weeks and am planning on staying everytime I pass thru. The Wilds make you want to stop by and say "hey" everytime you make any trip past them. They make you feel right at home and treat you like a king when you come. I definitely recommend this horse motel to anyone. Everything was safe and secure and top notch for both me and my horses. Scores a 10 instead of a 5 in my book!"

Comments: (6/18/08) - "Bryan was very nice and helped us find the place at 5am. He was very helpful and the facilities and overnight rate were perfect! Thank you!". . .(11/17/08) - "Brian was a very nice guy. His place was easy to find and easy access to get in and out of. His prices were great. Facilities were as expected. Restroom available in barn. We arrived a little later than expected, but he was there to meet us when we arrived. Great communication. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Alabama.". . . (3/5/09) - "A beautiful facility that I would have loved to spend more time at, as would my horses. Bryan and his family were totally hospitable and made room to accommodate my crazy OTTB's. Even offered a place to stay with some very cold weather. Clean stalls with fresh water, easy parking and super easy access to I-20. Even when I had truck trouble they were willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. An outstanding place to stay! Thank you for your kindness!". . . (10/21/09) - "Bryan and his family were GREAT. Easy to get in and out of with my semi. Made me feel like I was at home. Very nice place, will stay there again!". . . (11/14/11) - "I had the misfortune to break down in Birmingham in the dark of the night. Fortunatly, one call to Bryan and Dawn and the horse problem was solved. They went way above and beyond. The facilities were great and the people better. They are horsemen, and you will never meet nicer people. I can not say enough. Thanks."

Comments: (6/27/16) - "This was my favorite of the 5 places we layed over at using horsemotel.com. Gorgeous pastures which were much needed after being on the road for 6 days. Beautiful barn, and the most lovely owner. I highly recommend this facility."

Comments: (4/29/12) - "Thank you Robert for a comfortable stay. We will definitely use your facility again when we are traveling. Ned and Rita Leigh.". . . (4/2/13) - "Mr. Burns and his family were incredible hosts! This was the first big move for our horses and he was very "user friendly" for our military move and had a room on site for us to stay in. Thank you very much!". . . (10/18/13) - "This was my first stay with Robert but it will not be my last. I put my horses into his covered arena (huge!!!) where they ran and rolled most of the evening. It is lighted so I could see the horses all night long. He has a number (a lot) of hook ups available in several different areas. I was very pleased with his facility and if I go east on I-20 again I will be staying with him a second time. "

Comments: (8/2/09) - "This was the most wonderful horse motel my family and I have ever visited. What wonderful hosts the Averys were. You won't want to miss out on this treat. The pool house was superb. Thank you so much for the great hospitality.". . . (12/24/09) - "This is more than a Horse Motel: it is a place where you will love to stay more than a day, or two! Susan is a very graceful host and the horse accommodation was great. The little house is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and such a very nice retreat that it was hard to leave. Over all, I can say that planning to overnight in this horse- human motel is a very good decision. But, do plan to stay more than a day, because only a one day stay, it will not be enough! Oh, and this is rather important for us GPS users, the address is accurate on the satellite mapping and the directions will bring you right in the driveway, it is not that far from I-10 either.". . . (8/20/10) - "David and Suzanne were very friendly hosts and went above and beyond for us! They went and got us a pizza, we were too tired to get back in and drive to get food, they helped us with our trucks sick transmission! Amazing friendly owners, felt like they were our old friends. The little bungalow we slept in was super clean and very comfy! Even a pool for our use. Absolutely wonderful highly recommend them! Our horse got to stay in a nice pasture with grass and tress for shade. They have stalls also. Our horse was very happy at Rocking A Ranch!". . . (12/6/10) - "We stayed here in late March 2010. The pool house was great. The pasture turnout worked well for the horses and we really enjoyed dining in Fairhope. We are staying here early next week (December 2010) on our way through to Florida.". . . (4/5/11) - "The Rocking A is off the path a little from I-10 but worth the distance! Susan was so helpful and made us feel completely at home. This place is just beautiful! We took advantage of the guest house and just loved the whole experience. By we, it was my dog and me. The next time through I will be sure to have my wife along to enjoy this. Thanks Susan.". . . (8/29/11) - "Susan was actually out of town but she allowed us to stay at her nice ranch anyhow. The place is a bit further off the Interstate then what we usually like, but well worth the drive. Beautiful area, very well groomed, very nice, clean room/pool, home. Easy to find with help of GPS. We highly recommend the Bimini Bob restaurant in Daphne, just off the Interstate exit and do not miss to visit the Battleship Museum and Park.". . . (8/15/12) - "Made reservations two weeks in advance. Everything was ready for us upon our arrival. Not fancy, but it felt like I had come home to my family's farm complete with a southern great lady in the driveway to make sure we had everything we needed and more. Our stay was perfect. I will be staying at Silverhill again.". . . (10/18/13) - "This is my 3rd stay with Susan and as usual she is the best hostess. Her facilities are exceptional; clean and very accessible. Parking both coming and going is very easy. Hook ups are close by for trailers with living quarters plus she has cabins that are available for reservations. I was, and continue to be, very pleased with her Horse Hotel and will continue to stay there on my trips into the southeast.". . . (6/29/14) - "Appreciated last minute availability as well as late arrival. Thank you very much.". . . (7/22/15) - "The ranch was inviting and so accessible. We arrived hot and tired and immediately felt like we were at home. We hosed the horses down and they went out to a nice shady pasture to relax. We were able to jump in the shower and fall right into a nap in the beautiful pool house. Afterward we went to town and had a great lunch at a quaint little sandwich shop on Main Street. Came back, fed horses, cleaned out trailer, prepared for the next day and then jumped in an in-ground pool before retiring for the night. It was so nice to have a rest stop so comfy. Horses and drivers rested and continued on their journey. Thank you, Susanne.". . . (10/6/15) - "I love this place!". . . (4/26/16) - "This was the most awesome facility for horses and horse owners!! The cottage was more than expected with a pool. My mare had a stall and a large pasture for her to walk and investigate. The stall was very large and roomy. Would advise anybody traveling with or without your horse to stay here. Top-notch hospitality. Thank the Lord for people who have these hotels for us. Superb!!!"

Comments: (8/5/15) - "Darwin and Elizabeth were so inviting and helpful in every way. The human facilities were like something out of home and garden!! I can't recommend the Caddo place enough. You can't go wrong with these folks. Beautiful facilities and people.". . . (1/26/16) - "Darwin Clark, the owner, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We left our truck with him on our way to Florida and on the way back he met us with our truck to switch our horse trailer from our RV to the truck since my husband was taking the horses back to TN and I was heading to west AL with the RV. He was very helpful and saved us a bunch of time. Our stalls were ready for the horses when we arrived at 11:30 pm on a Sunday night. They had bedding and fresh water. Since we both had to be up super early to head out Darwin made the "turn and burn" transition seamless for us. We would stay there again without hesitation and highly recommend Caddo."
