Comments: (3/7/14) - "Jennifer took us in even though she had a reservation; we were driving in with a new horse and got caught in an ice storm. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she made dinner as we could not get out in the ice. A beautiful home and a beautiful family. I cannot wait to go back in good weather and ride for fun. *** the house cat is a wonderful toe warmer!!!"

(7/12/11) - "They were the greatest. We were on the last leg of our trip moving from California to North Carolina 6/3/2011 and we were too tired to make it the rest of the way. We contacted Gayle last minute and they made room for us and let us sleep in our truck. They were very accommodating, the facility was beautiful. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. If you ever need a safe place for your horse for over night they are the place to go in Kentucky. Thank you again so much for everything, Gayle and family; you were all the sweetest and it was pleasure meeting you.". . . (9/19/11) - "Very courteous and helpful. Thanks for everything.". . . Called Gayle 15min before arriving and they directed us to the farm. They are waiting for you when you arrive. Very friendly and helpful. We will come back here. Overall satisfaction is above positive. Thank you.". . . (4/6/12) - "After a stressful day on the road. Our hosts were warm and very friendly. The facility is tops. Our first time at a horse motel. (8/14/10) - "Great place to stay. Our horses were welcomed with fresh water, a fan and straw up to their bellies. We were very happy with our stay. Very very clean and very very friendly. We are staying again in september!". . . (4/16/11) - "On our move across the country with our 3 horses, this was the nicest place we stayed. Hosts were very friendly and helpful!". . . (6/15/11) - "Stopped overnight from South Carolina to Michigan with my 3 month old orphan foal. First time he had been in a trailer. Steve was waiting for us in the driveway and lead us right to the barn where we safely unloaded. Then into a safe, comfy stall with straw like a feather mattress, water and hay. Everything was beautiful, Pinesol clean, even the main aisle was raked. FIRST RATE! Thank you Steve and Wanda.". . . (7/28/11) - "My horses were safe. I was very confident. In their care.". . . (8/7/11) - "Saddles and Sheets was really great! Nice big turnout pens with lots of grass, excellent care, friendly service.". . . (9/28/11) - "This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed with our horse(s)! Steve was so nice and, although we showed up later than planned, he had everything set up, the barn lights on, and welcome mat out. UhOh actually stayed out in a paddock, which we had requested, and it was great! Excellent fencing, automatic waterer, grass, and we were able to stay in our trailer on premises. We also liked how we were off the road adequately, but had easy access to main roads and the interstate. We difinitely felt safe and had no concerns. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks so much Steve and Wanda!". . . (11/20/11) - "The owner of the stable was very hospitable. The stables were very easy to find from the highway. I felt my horse was very safe there. The owner was on the premises. I will definitely visit these stables again if in the area, will also tell my friends about it.". . . (1/23/12) - "I can't say enough positive things about Saddles & Sheets! The farm was recommended to me by word of mouth and I was beyond satisfied with my stay. The facility was extremely clean and the heavily bedded stalls were HUGE! Steve was a pleasure to work with as well. Very friendly, professional, accommodating, and easy to get ahold of! I will definitely stop back on my way through Lexington.". . . (5/10/12) - "Unlike many of the other places we have stayed in the past during numerous trips across the country, this one is just as good, if not better, as the add suggests. The owners were super friendly and available, had a nice clean stall with very clean buckets, all very safe, already set up, and my horse got to be turned out in a beautiful pasture as soon as he got off the trailer. While we are in very close proximity to the highway and hotels (but far enough to not hear traffic or be concerned about a loose horse), we chose to stay in the living part of our trailer. The barn has clean bathrooms and a sink. For a horse farm, it's all very neat, clean, organized and safe. I would definitely make it a point to stay here in the future! Highly recommended.". . . (5/9/12) - "One of the best places I've stayed at across the country. The owner, Steve Moberly, helped me locate a replacement spare to replace the one I used for a blow out on he way there, even driving me into town to pick it up! Super relaxed environment for the horse, with beautiful lush paddocks for grazing and big open stalls with fans. Cleaner than my own barn! LOVED IT!". . (7/16/12) - "Cannot say enough good things about Steve and Wanda at Saddles and Sheets. I am so appreciative & thankful for their hospitality, and eagerness to go ABOVE & BEYOND in helping me and my horses when my truck broke down. They are the kindest people I have ever came across, and defintely made a friendship for life. I am greatful for all the help, and the SUPERB care my horses recieved. Beautiful facilities, great care, and honest, trustworthy people. Thanks again, cannot express it enough in words. Hope to come again under much less stressful circumstances.". . . (5/6/13) - "Absolutely GREAT folks & accommodations! Always wonderful! Thank you!". . . (6/28/13) - "We were met at the driveway and escorted to our pasture. Our gelding has respiratory issues and can't be stalled. He was able to enjoy a large turnout lot for the night. He was happy and enjoyed a pasture full of grass within view of other horses. Property owners live within yards of the barn and their home over looks the turnouts. They are only 1.5 miles from I-64 and our 22 foot gooseneck was able to enter and exit their drive with no issues. Next time I travel through I hope they have an opening.". . . (8/14/13) - "Stayed at Saddles & Sheets on our trip out west - to and from our destination - wonderful facility - Our host was very accommodating and helpful Would highly recommend this stop for a layover in Kentucky !". . . (10/19/13) - "Wow, what nice folks! Knowledgable, friendly, caring and wonderful! We travel across the country with our horses twice a year and have always stayed with Steve and Wanda Moberly. They take very good care of us and our horses! Wonderful people and facilities! Thank you again Steve and Wanda! We'll be back!". . . (10/7/13) - "We used this facility 11/4/13. I would like to say this was an outstanding facility and for our first time using a horse motel we could not have selected a better host. Steve was friendly and assisted us with all aspects of settling our horses arrival. I would highly recommend this facility for your overnight needs while hauling your horses. Clean, friendly, easy on and off the interstate and I loved the added discount at a local hotel. Well done and you will see us again A+++. Thank you, Nona and Ari.". . . (7/23/14) - "I would highly recommend Saddles and Sheets. Steve and Wanda were amazing hosts and the facility is unbelievably clean. The turn out areas are large with safe fencing and automatic waterers. The stalls are large and very clean; the barn is breezy and beautiful. This is the first overnight facility that I have had to utilize and I can honestly say that it will set the standard from this point forward.". . . (7/24/14) - "Saddles and Sheets is like horsey heaven. It is a beautiful facility with friendly and caring owners. Everything about the facility is beautiful! Our horses enjoyed their recent stay!". . . (7/26/14) - "Saddles & Sheets was an outstanding layover facility. Steve & Wanda are very accommodating and took excellent care of our horses. We definitely recommend their facility and will layover there again!". . . (8/19/14) - "LOVED this place. We pulled in VERY late and we were met with a smiling face and an easy place to park and a wonderful stall for my horse to spend the night in. I WILL be stopping there again!". . . (9/16/14) - "Stayed here twice now and plan my trips with Saddles and Sheets in mind whenever I pass through Kentucky. Stunningly beautiful and immaculate, Steve always is super welcoming and helpful, great pastures and great stalls. Plenty of parking. A very short drive off the interstate and Midway, KY, is 5 minutes away and has a cute downtown and a great restaurant called Grey Goose."
