Comments: (4/30/16) - "Very nice family, comfortable, clean barn on a cold and windy night. Thank you very much.". . . (5/2/17) - "Sue was more than helpful right from the moment we called. We would highly recommend Kremer to anybody. It's very refreshing when a total stranger welcomes you like family. Thank you again!". . . (5/26/18) - "Very nice place to overnight. Easy access to I-80. Nice size stalls and electric for our trailers. Very nice and hospitable people. Will recommend.". . . (7/22/18) - "Excellent place to stay. Friendly host. Electric available. Would absolutely recommend.". . . (7/12/19) - "Easy access right off the highway. The people were very nice and accommodating. Stalls were clean and huge. Highly recommend.". . . (7/29/20) - "Great spot with well-bedded stalls and a fan during hot weather. I really appreciated finding this place after a long day on the road. My horse was very comfortable, as was I.". . . (6/5/23) - "One of the most positive stays we’ve ever encountered. The hosts were some of the nicest people I have ever met and even offered us their own personal vehicle to drive into town to get food so we didn’t have to unhook our truck as we were only staying one night and leaving very early in the morning. I would recommend this place 1 million times over.". . . (11/9/23) - "We were traveling with 2 young, unstarted horses and stopped overnight. Our bumper pull straight load was daunting for one of the 2 youngsters, and he would not load. After about 30 minutes, Sue's husband came out to help and he and Sue were very helpful pushing him up the ramp into the trailer. I'm pretty sure we would have been there for a long time if had not been for their knowledgeable help! This is our 2nd stay here and would highly recommend it."

(Editor's Comments): Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.
(11/2/17) - "Highly recommend this place as a rest stop in your travels. Very welcoming and the "bunkhouse" is awesome! Barn and stalls were very clean. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Also location is close the interstate which is a plus. Hope to return someday.". . . (2/22/18) - "As others have noted, can't say enough positive things about this facility. Great hospitality and communication from owner. Clean, easy-to-find barn, close to the interstate. We were traveling in winter and were thrilled to have a heated barn with access to an indoor arena. Stayed in their bunkhouse which was nicer than any hotel on the trip. Definitely recommend!". . . (4/19/18) - "Arriving late (naturally) in 11 degree weather, we were greeted at the entrance and escorted to the most deliciously heated barn and bedded stall, helped with our hookup and made certain every detail was attended to. In the morning, their own horses were brought in to allow ours to stretch his legs before loading up again. Even gave us souvenir coffee mugs! High on my list of among the best places to stay anywhere!". . . (7/8/18) - "We laid over at Triple E Equine while moving our three horses from Wisconsin to Colorado. Couldn't have asked for a better place! The on-site bunkhouse let us sleep just outside the horse stalls (which are big, clean and with mats). They even loaned us a car to get dinner so we didn't have to unhook the trailer. Great place and nice people. We will be back!". . . (8/28/18) - "Very good facility for lay over. Being a Veterinarian I find myself selective in horse hotels. In addition to a comfortable lay over for my horse, they offer a bunk house that is elegant and hard to pass up. Good location and easy access to expressway. Hospitality was great!!". . . (10/21/18) - "Nice facilities; right off I-80. The family is very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. We introduced them to Rocky mountain horses. You're going to chuckle, but, Chez Bubba's is a must.". . . (7/21/19) - "We've stayed with this family every time we've traveled west! Amazing facility! You will be spoiled once you have stayed with the Eberspacher family! From the warm hospitality to the immaculate barn for your horse, one of the top horse motels hands down!". . . (8/9/19) - "We booked a night stay in Triple E's bunk room as part of a charity auction package & brought our kids. The facilities were amazing, grounds beautiful, and you'd never find better hosts than the Eberspachers! Kids had a blast & will probably never stop talking about the animals...Steve, Cardi B & Larry, Brandon & Wilma are lasting favorites!". . . (3/14/20) - "After an extremely long day on the road with frigid temperatures I cannot express how great it was to realize the barn was heated and the indoor {stall} was attached. After turning our horse out in the ring to stretch, we settled into the charming bunkhouse. With every amenity, the accommodations were also super cozy with a window that looks into the ring, as well as a door that leads directly to the barn- What a perfect place! I was so happy that we did not need to venture outside again until the next day!!". . . (6/28/20) - "Triple E is a beautiful, easily accessed, fully equipped facility which provides a comfortable and relaxing stay for guests. The bunkhouse is so much more than the "traditional" connotation associated with the name; it is just as presented with everything you could need. I highly recommend a stay, the experienced horsewomen running the facility will make sure you and your equine partner are well cared for.". . . (8/15/20) - "This was such a fantastic place to stay for both the humans and the horse traveling through. Our horse was so happy and comfortable and the bunkhouse is immaculately clean with all the little things that make staying someplace special! Owners were amazing in communicating before our arrival as we were headed right into a thunderstorm, high winds, hail and tornado warning....they found alternate facilities in case we needed to lay up early. Thankfully, the storm passed before our arrival and we were able to get to our destination! So thankful for their kindness and help! Would recommend a thousand times over!". . . (12/18/20) - "We loved staying at this facility as much as our horses were enjoying the large/clean stalls and the indoor arena for turnout. We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat and we hope to have that opportunity again. Wonderful and gracious family!". . . (12/20/20) - "We were traveling from FL back to our home in WY. Our trailer broke down in Lincoln and we couldn’t make it back to WY as planned that night. Even though it was short notice, we were welcomed to Triple E with huge smiles. Great facilities, these people know what they are doing with horses, and their living quarters are nicer than most hotels. Really feels like home! Not to mention if your horses stay in the arena you can see them from the kitchen!! Amazing place with amazing people. Totally recommend.". . . (9/11/21) - "This facility and the owners were exceptional. As an equine veterinarian, I appreciated the safety & cleanliness of the stalls and associated turnouts. When we blew a turbo hose on I-80, shortly after we departed, Triple E provided needed local contacts and support to help us continue our journey. Next time, we will use their bunkhouse! It's beautiful.". . . (7/19/22) - "They also have a very nice bunkhouse. Will definitely use again when traveling that way. Great communication."

Comments: (7/10/03) - "We would like to thank Lorie so much for providing a wonderful place for our 2 Haflingers. We felt very comfortable leaving them overnight at her stable. She was just as nice as could be and was able to offer us either individual stalls or a larger one where our "boys" could stay together. We were delighted that they could stay together and that they had both an indoor stall and a run where they could go out for some fresh air. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. We were also able to easily clean the trailer for a fresh start in the morning. Would definitely stay there again!". . .(7/19/04) - "This facility was wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone if they need a place in Nebraska. Super clean and safe. The owner is a super person. I felt totally at ease leaving my three horses there. I would without a second thought stay there again.". . .(5/14/06) - "Host was very helpful via email when I was planning my trip. She was not present when I showed up, but had everything ready to go, with an invoice on the door. Dropped off my horse and trailer without worry. Didn't see her the next morning either, but all was well and got on the road again without problems. This is the only horse hotel I'm aware of in the area and I would stay there again.". . .(11/10/08) - "HQH Stables was an excellent small facility that took exceptional care of our 4 horses during our recent trip from Colorado to Pennsylvania. I could not have been more pleased. Our hostess was wonderful and knowledgable and we will definitely stay there again. God Bless.". . . (11/9/11) - "Very basic facility with a very nice host.". . . (6/23/12) - "We were more than impressed by the facilities at HQH Stables. Super clean with easy access to water and electricity! Not a piece of manure to be found! Would surely stay there again when we are up that way!". . . (8/11/13) - "This was a great experience. We rolled in after midnight, but Lori was right there to sign us in. I would highly recommend HQH Stables & Campsite to anyone hauling long distance and wanting to give their horses a break. Thanks again Lori.". . . (2/26/17) - "We called last minute to stay and the facility was beautiful and so friendly.". . . (12/3/17) - "Thank you so much for giving our horses a clean safe place to sleep. Your location was super convenient to the hotel and freeway. Super responsive to phone calls and you are an amazing lady!". . . (8/8/18) - "The host was incredibly friendly, very accompdating and just a wonderful lady. Although not the owners fault at all, the condition of the road to the farm in May was pretty rough. I don't have a living quarter trailer but if I did, I wouldn't have made it. Just beware to find out road conditions before booking. Stalls were a bit small for my liking as I own a half draft who is a bit larger. If you own anything over 15.2, this barn would possibly be a bit small. Overall, my horses were safe for the night. It's in a very quiet location.". . . (5/7/20) - "Stalls are very small, and bedding was not provided. I would expect bedding for $35/night. My horse could barely turn around and she is only 15.2hh. Road is a bit rough if there is rain. My trailer struggled to get through the clay/sand (GRAVEL) for the last 1.5 miles. No on site area to clean out manure from trailer. (Excerpts from the owner to previous review): "THERE WERE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DOOR FOR CLEANING TRAILERS AND I WAS AVAILABLE ON THE PHONE FOR ANY QUESTIONS. . . IN 25 YEARS I HAVE NEVER CHARGED MORE THAN THE CURRENT RATE OF $25.00 PER HORSE TO STAY IN THE BARN OR IN THE SIZABLE PENS." I was charged $20 to stay on the property, but there were no facilities or hook ups. (Excerpts from the owner to previous review): "WE HAVE AMPLE HOOKUPS ON THE PROPERTY FOR WATER AND ELECTRICITY AS ADVERTISED ON OUR WEB SITE. THERE IS ALSO AMPLE ROOM TO PARK TRAILERS. SHE DID NOT GET STUCK ON MY PROPERTY!!! . . . THERE WERE NO PARKING RESTRICTIONS SHE WAS NOT FORBIDDEN TO PUT HER HORSES IN THE BARN. . . SHE HAD REQUESTED AN OUTDOOR PEN FOR HER HORSE. WHEN SHE DIDN'T ARRIVE BY THE TIME SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD BE THERE, I CALLED HER TO SEE IF SHE WAS ALRIGHT AND STILL PLANNING TO COME, DUE TO THE RAIN. UPON HER ARRIVAL, SHE ASKED TO USE THE BARN INSTEAD. SHE WAS ADVISED THAT THERE WAS NO BEDDING AVAILABLE BUT SHE WAS WELCOME TO USE IT, AS THERE ARE 6 10' x 10' STALLS AND 3 OF THE STALLS CAN BE EXTENDED TO 10' x 20'. (NO SMALL PENS)." I feel as though this property hasn't been maintained in quite some time. The host was friendly, and understandably, didn't want to come out due to COVID, but I wish she had thought through the fact that it was raining hard, and my trailer would get stuck where she asked me to park it, or that I might want shelter for my horse and to move into the barn." (Excerpts from the owner to previous review): "I AM SURPRISED THAT SHE EXPECTED ME TO MAKE THOSE DECISIONS FOR HER! I HAD CHANGED MY DECISION IN ORDER TO ALLOW HER TO STAY, WITH RESTRICTIONS THAT SHE WAS WELL ADVISED OF IN ADVANCE! The restrictions were as follows: There would be no physical contact due to the virus and we would COMMMUNICATE BY PHONE and she could leave the payment and sign the Liability Form that I would leave WITH OTHER INFORMATION (INCLUDING CLEANING TRAILERS): on a clipboard at the back door. I WATCHER FROM MY BACK DOOR, AS WELL." . . . (6/19/23) - "Administrator's Comments - Excerpts from the following review were posted." - "We arrived and checked out the barn. It's more like a long chicken coop with panels used for stalls on a cement floor. . . . We opted to leave our horses outside in pens that were cobbled together with wire, twine and other things. . . . you have to drag your manure down the road to the farm field. There is no place to dump the manure on her property. Plus, she has a stallion on the property in some of the pens. . . . I wouldn't go back unless I absolutely had no other choice."

Comments: (7/5/18) - "This farm was exceptional and surpassed what was listed. The hosts were very gracious and kind which made for an awesome end to our long day. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality, both of you.". . . (10/5/20) - "Absolutely one of our favorite places due to easy off I-80, room to drop trailer to go into nearby Grand Island, extremely large outdoor pens with great shelter and very nice indoor stalls with runs. Will use them every time! Very prompt and made our stay simple and almost effortless! Thank you! Y’all did an incredible job!!". . . (8/19/23) - "This place was great. We stopped for the night after a long haul. It was literally right off the highway I-80 exit 317. It was so nice to unload horses into a grassy, roomy paddock with automatic water and a lean to for shade. Horses were happy to run and roll. They have electric hook up and water and septic. Plenty of room for big trailer and turning room. Very nice people with very nice set up."

Comments: (9/19/21) - "J Bar D was a great place to stop overnight! We were the only trailer for the night, so I’m not sure where they would park others, but we were parked right next to the barn and hooked up to electricity. I also am not sure of how many hook ups or power options are available, but we were plugged into 110 power. Luckily, I had an adapter. The owners were extremely nice and made no issue of us arriving later than I told them we would... twice! That has to be the worst part of allowing overnighters: the late arrivals. But we were so grateful for their hospitality. More than adequate and safe stalls for the horses. If we are ever in need again, we would absolutely stay at J Bar D."

Comments: (5/21/15) - "Great people, really cared about our horse, facility was very nice. We had him in an outdoor corral and in the evening they fed him and put him in the stable for the night. Highly recommend.". . . (7/31/17) - "Very, very close to Route 80. Hostess was nice and directed us to local shopping. Our horse got a pen next to the driveway. Nothing fancy but my horse was comfortable and I could keep an eye on her. Property owner stayed out of our way. Lots of good grass and clover for hand grazing. If I come back this way, I would stay again.". . . (10/14/17) - "We would stop there again.". . . (1/3/18) - "We enjoyed our stay. Easy to get to off I-80 and close to the Lancaster Event Center. Wonderful, helpful people and great facilities.". . . (10/25/22) - "I've been hauling horses for a good while. The host was very kind on the phone but I must say, I've stayed at a lot of layovers but the stalls at this barn were {dirty}. The stalls were loaded with fungus laden manure and the grain bins had . . . mash . . . with maggots. One of the 2 cleanest stalls had an automatic waterer leaking such that the stall was a mud pit. It was 1:30 in the morning, we mucked out the stalls and added our own shavings . . . It took us 2 hours to get the stalls cleaned up and we were out of there by 07. Not a restful night . . .". . . (6/30/23 - "Very, very dusty and dirty.". . . (7/13/23) - "She was VERY accommodating to us and our late arrival! We decided we would drive on to her (our second stop) instead of our first. We saw we could make it and with traffic and everything else she was still awesome! Horses had a great area to walk around and roll in! VERY VERY happy with our experience!!". . . (8/31/23) - "Berna is very nice and accommodating. She offered to cook us dinner but we had just had pizza an hour or so before our stop for the night. She did make us French toast in the morning that was very tasty. Being honest, the only negative for me was it was a bit hard for me to get around. I have some mobility issues but for the young and able it was a positive experience."

Comments: (2/12/18) - "Jackie was fantastic, going above and beyond by texting me how my horse was doing after I had left him for the night. Very close to Ogallala and I-80. The new Holiday Inn in Ogallala for humans is very nice. Highly recommend this horse motel!". . . (3/24/18) - "Best stop of our trip! Jackie cared for our horses like they were her own, checking regularly and providing us with updates by text. Worry-free night of rest for us. Beautiful, newer barn with sanitized stalls and soothing music playing for the horses overnight. Jackie and Steve helped us out when we had some trailer issues and were so gracious never making us feel like an imposition. Wonderful hosts who go above and beyond. Thanks so much for everything!!!!". . . (9/24/18) - "Trailer issues had us arriving well past our estimated arrival time. They both met us and helped us unload. Stalls were freshly bedded with clean water; great ventilation. Very clean, well maintained barn! Would stay here again!". . . (5/24/19) - "Jump Rope Stables fit my needs to a T! Jackie and Steve were so friendly and helpful, my horse was very happy overnight, and I was thankful for the late night check in so I could get some rest. Thank you! Betsy F.". . . (10/15/19) - "Overall a very nice experience. Jackie was very accommodating for us. They were close to capacity but made room for us at the last minute. Fairly easy access to the interstate with plenty of food choices within minutes. Definitely would recommend this destination.". . . (11/8/20) - "One of the best experiences I’ve had with overnight boarding, the owners were extremely friendly, responsive, and gave my horse great care. Individual turnout with plenty of room, attention to proper biosecurity for my horse, and easy to reach from I-80. Great place to stop with plenty of hotels and restaurants within ten minutes.". . . (12/1/20) - "Great place to stay with fantastic hosts! Our running lights went out on our journey, and our host helped us problem solve the issue so we could leave first thing before daylight! The barn was great...big stalls, lots of water, well insulated (it was very cold when we arrived). Our horse got super care! Thanks so much!". . . (4/26/21) - "Jackie was very nice and accommodating. We had just one horse who was nervous to be by himself so she brought one of her horses in the barn to stay with him.". . . (6/28/21) - "Would definitely stay here again. Facility was clean, hosts were friendly. We had the option of stalls or outside corral for the horses; our horses liked the corral.". . . (8/6/21) - "Jackie has an excellent facility, choice of stall or paddock. Both are well constructed and roomy. Jackie quickly responded to texts answering our questions. Easy in and out for 32' LQ. Would recommend this place without hesitation.". . . (9/16/22) - "Jackie and Steve were so fun to chat with and they took amazing care of my horse. They offered to feed my horse in the morning if I wanted to leave something to throw, and Jackie gave me some vet cream to put on a rub my horse got in the trailer. The facility has a very easy loop so I didn’t have to do any backing up of the trailer, there were other horses on the property so my horse was less distressed than at some other layovers as well. Ten out of ten horse hotel.". . . (10/3/22) - "I stayed here with 2 horses, I stayed on site with a 30 amp hookup for my LQ. I opted for a paddock for my 2 horses, they loved rolling in the sandy base. The hosts were very friendly, as were their dogs and cats. Navigating their facility was easy. My horses seemed very comfortable here, and we got a good nights sleep before the rest of our trip.. . . (9/11/23) - "Highly recommend."

Comments: (7/10/15) - "Owners were very friendly. Spot was easy to navigate for larger rig. Big pens. Had large arena. Many options for horse accommodations. Groups traveling together could all stay.". . . (8/15/15) - "Wonderful place to stay overnight! Very friendly owners, very peaceful! Great big grassy pens for the horses!". . . (5/9/16) - "We stayed 4/25/16 and had the mares in a 40' x 40' pen with grass so they were happy. No shelter in the pen but had their blankets on them as it was going to go down to 35 that night and my Florida horses had long since shed their winter coats. Desiree was the only host on our travel who asked to see the mares' coggins and health cert. which I appreciated. If inclement weather, I would not stay there again otherwise the horses appreciated the grass. She provided clean water buckets for them.". . . (4/5/18) - "I needed to layover and called at the last minute because the weather turned. They met me and had the pen ready with water, and I brought my own hay. The weather was still cold and the roads icy in the morning so I called from my motel room and purchased a bale of hay from them and they fed my horse for me. I appreciated the care and their flexibility very much!". . . (7/23/18) - "Tumbleweed Stable is very nice, we would stay there again. We prefer paddocks when we travel, and Tumbleweed's paddocks are clean and large! Very nice. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Make sure to take the paved road. Google took us on a dirt road!". . . (10/19/21) - "Last minute need to shut down led us to contact them in hopes of availability for a safe place for our horse. They did not disappoint! Great 50' x 50' pen for him to stretch and relax after a long trip in the trailer. Pen was clean, fresh water at our arrival, friendly and helpful owners all made what could have been a stressful, worrisome night, a relaxed one instead."

(9/15/15) - "Diane was awesome. We drove from Michigan and she stayed up late to greet us and visit while our horse settled in. Nice clean, large stalls and plenty of room to park a large rig.". . . (11/3/15) - "A fantastic place to stay. Wonderful having accommodations for both our horse as well as a place to stay for us right on the property. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.". . . (5/23/16) - "Diane was lovely- very accommodating and friendly. She was in town when we arrived, though we had stayed in communication throughout our trip, but quickly drove to the farm to meet us and show us around, which was a huge help for us. We stayed in the motel area with our dogs (a must for us! Thank you for providing 'dog accessible' rooms!) , our horses stayed in an outdoor pen. The motel was very nice-bathroom/shower, and two beds with a TV. Local restaurants deliver to the motel, so a delivered Nebraska steak was a welcome change for dinner! Diane also has snacks, drinks, etc. in the room for a donation, which is nice. Overall the fencing was secure and high in the 40' x 80' pens and our horses did OK. The footing was tough on our big horses' legs, but they recovered well. A few notes for other travelers: footing is very, very, hard-like stone, in the dirt pens. No 'shelter' outdoors for pens. Auto waterers. Double gated-great for security. There is a cow, mini, chickens, and donkey onsite, so just prepare for that if your horse is not used to seeing them (Ours settled, but the cow was a new thing).". . . (6/16/18) - "Great host and accommodations.". .. (5/3/19) - "Swung through and picked up take out between interstate and hotel. Many places to choose from. Stalls were recommended as storms were brewing. Hotel rooms are fantastic and just steps away from the barn. Nice to feel safe, traveling with your horses and dog.". . . (10/12/19) - "A real equine facility; accommodations for both horses and human were outstanding. Large, asy circle drive. We were delayed by a traffic accident and the host was cordial and polite. I'll use them again and recommend them highly.". . . (8/28/20) - "Excellent stay and wonderful host. One of my horses was not feeling well and a vet was available within 30 minutes. Truly appreciated the care and attention I was given.". . . (10/7/21) - "The Diamond B fit the bill perfectly. Very accommodating facility and host. Miss Diane was fantastic to deal with. They even have 2 rooms right there between the barns to stay over. Will definitely use her whenever I need a layover spot, even if I have to drive extra to get there. Thank you!". . . (9/2/22) - "Easy to find. Great hostess. Great pen for my mare.". . . (10/2/22) - "Diamond B is great. The little room they have is so cute and comfortable that it really made our night staying there great. It was clean and the beds very comfy. The stall was nicely bedded and my horse had a good nights rest. I would stay there again.". . . (6/19/23) - "What a great place to layover! Very professional layout, easy in and out with 30 & 50 amp. Clean stalls or large paddocks, very accommodating and friendly owners. Very reasonably priced.". . . (9/11/23) - "Highly recommend."
