One look at Suzie Creek took care of all my worries. The staff met us at the Highway to lead us out to the stable. It is a beautiful place set way back off the highway. It is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. First rate accomodations, very clean and the horses paddocks were clean and very spacious. There is 24 hour monitoring. I felt totally secure leaving my horses there and was able to enjoy a good dinner in Elko and a good night sleep. The horses were very content when we came to pick them up in the morning. We already knew the owners would not be there, but the staff, Kyle, was there and waiting up for us. This you hope for from owners, but when you get it from staff who are standing in for the owners, I think it speaks volumes about the owners. Suzie is becoming a regular stop for us. Comments: (9/24/05) - "Pam was so incredibly obliging, and what a terrific hostess. Coffee was ready for us the next morning when we arrived to load up the horses, along with her own personal brand of hospitality - some wonderful conversation. The facility was clean and well laid out. Our horses were obviously very comfortable, judging from the amount of shavings they had all over them the next morning. We will most definitely visit Pam again.". . .(2/7/06) -"We arrived ahead of schedule and Pam came right away to help us unload and get the horse situated. The round pen was perfect to let my horse strech his legs. There were other horses in the barn so he wasn't lonely and hotels are just 10 minutes away in Reno; they even let the dogs stay. She provided coffee in the morning and was very willing to let us stay again. This was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.". . .(6/7/06) - "Pam was outstanding. We were running late (arriving at 9:30 pm), but were still greeted very warmly, and had plenty of help. The stall was exceptional with lots of room and shavings. Nice turnout area as well.
