Comments: (5/14/07) - "Huge stalls! Hosts were wonderful and accommodating. So nice to walk up to the house without unhooking the trailer. Would stay again!". . .(12/6/08) - "Judy is a wonderful hostess! Nice large stall was waiting for my horse, and a delicious dinner was waiting for me! Beautiful house, wonderful, comfortable room... felt more like coming home than stopping over. Best night's sleep I've had in years. Will definitely stay there again whenever I have a chance!"

Comments: (7/13/04) - "Great hosts with grassy safe turnout. Room was wonderful. Safe, easy to get to and park in. Very helpful hosts! I'll stay here again.". . .(8/7/04) - "{The owners} are great hosts. I stayed with them on the way to and from New England. They extended so much help to me with my horse; even found us a place to go next. I'm really greatful. Their place is immaculate, the house and room. The barn is clean and safe and the turnout had grass and was just large enough and just small enough for my horse to be comfortable, happy, and not to get hurt. There is a nearby restaurant, the Crystal Rose, with fabulous food and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Twice it was superb! Traveling up and down the east coast with a horse in a trailer was a bit worrying as I was a total beginner at long distance travel with my horse. Pheasant Field was the nicest and most caring place we stayed. I'd recommend it highly!". . .(9/15/04) - "{The owners} helped to make this a fabulous stay for us as we were moving across country from Las Vegas, NV, to Wrightstown, NJ! We had a horse, dog, and cat...and to make things even harder, we had our family from Washington, D.C. meet us up there and they handled all of the commotion flawlessly! They really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and to assure us that all of our critters would be safe and happy! We absolutely loved the setting and the atmosphere at their place, and only hope that our future travels would allow us to stay there again!". . .(10/5/04) - "We had a wonderful stay. . . . The facilities for my pony were excellent and he felt right at home which was extremely important. The hosts have a wonderful B & B as well and it was nice to be able to stay with the pony!!! If you are in the area and need a place to stay for you and your equine........don't hesitate to call Pheasant Field.". . . (12/10/04) - "This is a real "professional" Bed and Breakfast with excellent barn. I had a time getting my rig in and out of the drive but the host helped me and I only took out two of her decorations. We were close enough that we met a friend from Harrisburg for dinner.". . .(6/24/05) - "Excellent facilty for horse and owner. I will stay there again.". . .(1/13/06) - "We had a very warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, a nice breakfast and our horse was very comfortable. This accommodation was over what we expected.". . .(7/17/07) - "This was our second stay at Pheasant Field. . . Dee and Chuck are extremely accommodating. They think of everything! Handy type written directions, restaurant menus, and pamphlets to nearby attractions, just to name a few. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and stocked with handy items such as hair dryers, irons, Q-tips, magazines ~ you name it! I was even able to access the internet with my laptop. Save money and time by not having to eat lunch after eating Dee's scrumptious breakfast! The accommodations for the horses were great. We specifically asked that one horse have access to the barn and paddock while the other have a paddock next to him. Chuck and Dee put a gate up to make this happen. They have a three stall barn and several nice size paddocks. . . Dee and Chuck are adept innkeepers. You won't be disappointed staying here!". . .(11/13/08) - "Beyond our expectations. Especially appreciated the safe place for our five horses en route from upstate NY to central NC. A great half-way stop.". . . (10/28/09) - "Our second stay was just as wonderful as our first. Safe, clean, professionally run. This time we were headed north from NC to NY at the end of May. We, too, appreciated the substantial and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended to all.". . . (4/4/11) - "I would highly recommend this place for serious horse people. Dee was great and facilities were fantastic. We will definitely stay there again.". . . (9/4/11) - "Chuck and Dee were super friendly and and went to great lengths to make sure we had a great stay. The room (Pet-sylvania) was beautifully appointed and comfortable with cable/DVD/VCR and excellent movie selection. The room was very clean, and canine friendly. There was plenty of room for the dogs to run. The farm home and barn were beautiful and historic and we wish we could have stayed on longer to see more of the area. Our horse was comfortable in private turnout. Breakfast and availability of snacks and drinks at all hours was a nice amenity. Would definitely return here.". . . (10/17/12) - "Dee and her husband are fabulous hosts. They met me in the parking lot and guided my rig to parking by Dixie's paddock (for the night). After I got Dixie settled, they showed me the property and my wonderful room for the night. The house was so warm and hosts so welcoming...I will definitely stay here again.". . . (6/18/13) - "Beautiful restored farmhouse with a great host and hostess! The stalls were immaculate and turn out large and safe. There was plenty of room for the horses to stretch their legs after their long journey! And an nice oversized stall for the goats! Human accommodations were immaculate too. Breakfast in the morning was phenomenal! Thank you!"

Comments: (12/3109) - "This is the perfect place for both rider and mount. Tara and John have provided a private grassy paddock just three steps from the porch of the carriage house. We could sit on the porch or in the suite and watch our horses graze peacefully just a few feet away. The stalls are roomy and clean with rubber mats and pelleted bedding. The owners' horses, while close, don't come in contact with our horses because they are in their own pasture. The icing on the cake was the beautifully decorated suite itself and the three-course breakfast in the morning."

Comments: (9/10/12) - "Very accessible getting to, and once on the property Cindy and Dave were immediately available, warm, and welcoming. Dave even accommodated a special need and removed my horses shoes for me! My horse was given a large, secure, and lush pasture and immediately supplied with buckets of fresh water! I did not require a stall so I can't speak to that, but this facility has been open a short time and was immaculate. I also don't know about local food or housing as I stay in my LQ and I was asked and attended a local fair with the family that evening. I would return any time!". . . (12/3/12) - "This layover place took me when the place I was suppose to stay at didn't tell me that they were in Ohio instead of PA. This place was 15 miles from Rte 74. . . . He had no doors in his stalls; just a piece of chain that went across it. I had three Arab stallions and two were babies. He didn't want the halter to stay on the horse's but yet he did put up two cow panels as doors. . . . . He called the local motel and gave us directions on how to find it. The only thing I wasn't expecting on this trip was getting 2 inches of snow on the road the next day."

Comments: (9/12/14) - "I stayed at this farm two nights after my truck broke down in their facility and let me tell you that in my entire life never met anybody more friendly than Bobbi and Bruce and their son. They made me and my horse feel like I belong there. I was on my way to TX from NH. I can't wait to be back at Quiet Reach Farm. Thank you, Bobbi."

Comments: (3/20/13) - "The stable is very easy to find, only about 10 minutes off I-81. Curtis and his family are very friendly and always available. We have our horses there for an extended stay as we are working in the area and have been very happy with care our horses recieve. The stalls are large and clean, there is a small indoor arena and a large outdoor arena. There are also lots of trails to go for a ride in the hills around the stable. There are several good restaraunts nearby.". . . (2/19/14) - "These folks were very accommodating and super friendly. They made us feel very welcome on their farm and the price was great! They made us feel at home. Will definitely use them again in my travels and highly recommend them if you are in their area. They are on a dirt road and seemed like we were headed to no where, but they were easy to find and the farm was wonderful!". . . (12/6/14) - "In spite of our late arrival in nearly freezing rain, Curtis met us with lights on, feed and water ready and a big smile. I asked for some last minute changes and he was extremely accommodating. In the morning it was still raining and he allowed us to back into the barn to load. Thanks Curtis!"
