Comments: (8/18/16) - "Our stay with Raftered Heart Ranch was very positive. Rod was extremely easy to reach via phone call, the directions given to the Ranch were spot-on, and Ashby met us at the truck upon arrival. Very friendly and easy to work with. Allowed us to turn our horse out in the arena multiple times to let him stretch, prepared the stall with bedding and water, and brought in a "buddy horse" for our guy overnight. Would definitely stay here again."

Comments: (5/27/11) - "Dennis and Maryanne have a beautiful barn/stalls and were outstanding and helpful hosts! We've had the opportunity to see a large number of "horse hotels" as we've moved all over the country with the military and this facility is truly among the best we've seen anywhere. Highly recommended!

Comments: (8/15/07) - "Jodie, the owner, was wonderful! The stalls were perfect for our stay. We were transporting 3 BLM Mustangs to their new homes in Montana and needed secure stalls for them to rest after a long day. We could not have asked for a more perfect set up. The stalls were clean and she had fresh water out for them when we arrived. We stayed in the little cabin at the camp ground and it was great. Jodie loves horses and it really showed! We will stay there again.". . .(9/14/07) - "My husband and I pulled in there late one night and Jody met us and helped with the horses. The stalls were clean and Jody had clean water already for the horses. It was easy to get to and a nice place to park and sleep overnight. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.". . . (8/28/10) - "The owner of the facility was extremely friendly and helpful! I felt that my horse was well watched at night and the stalls and round pen were very well kept and ready for me and my horse when I arived.". . . (6/4/11) - "We had a great stay here. Despite arriving late I was warmly greeted and was able to get the site prepped for my horses. We were able to hook up our trailer right next to the horse corrals. Also very nice (and warm) bathrooms and showers.". . . (7/9/11) - "Big Rig Access. Large pipe pens, 2 round pens available to exercise. Large pull through RV campsite. Friendly staff with full amenities of a nice KOA Campground.". . . (6/25/13) - "Stayed there 4 times in 2012 and once so far in 2013. Big rig access, wonderful covered pens plus 2 round pens. Full RV hookups with all the amenities of a KOA campground. Owner is a horse woman who understands the traveler's needs. WISH ALL KOA's offered this service.". . . (7/9/14) - "Very convenient to I-25 and a safe facility which is most important to me. I would be very happy to stay here again! You will not be disappointed with this facility. If you're lucky, you will meet Jacob. Quite an impressive young man!". . . (11/5/16) - "Loved this place - we had a pull-through RV spot with full hookups right beside the horse area. Staff were very helpful and facility was clean and welcoming."

Comments: (10/2/10) - "Always a pleasure to stay here with Pia Valar!". . . (6/28/14) - "I have stayed here for the past five years and love it. The close proximity to hundreds of miles of riding trails as well as to Jackson, WY cannot be better. The owner, Pia, is a wonderful host and you will instantly become a member of her extended family. I will be back!". . . (5/13/15) - "Our host was very accommodating and helped us get settled. She pointed us to trails, day excursions, and provided tips for touring the area.". . . (6/5/16) - "Pia was a good host and provided us with many options for trails in the beautiful area. We did a lot of touring without our horses also. Riding in the Grand Tetons was a highlight of our 4 week trip!". . . (7/23/16) - "We had a fabulous stay! Dean, the caretaker was so nice and helpful. Pia was lovely and we enjoyed her sister Christine who was in for a visit as well. We had great neighbors in the trailer next to us and we would definitely visit again!". . . (7/31/16) - "Very nice facility in close proximity to Jackson, the Tetons, and Yellowstone. Very friendly hosts. Very much enjoyed our stay, using the hot tub, and hanging out on the deck. Horse trails accessible from the property.". . . (8/10/16) - "You will not find an owner/host more accommodating, congenial and knowledgeable than Pia. We enjoyed our stay.". . . (9/20/16) - "We just returned from a three week vacation to Wyoming. Our 8 night stay with Pia Valar was one of the highlights. She offered trail suggestions based on what we wanted to do . . . all of which were great. She is located just south of Jackson so we mixed up riding, hiking, and shopping. Location, location, location!"

Comments: (Editor's Comments: Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.)
(10/4/13) - "This was a fabulous place to stay as we hauled my daughter's horse across Wyoming. Dianne was simply the best hostess to these road-weary travelers, and one very tired horse. Their place is beautiful, easy to access off I-80, the barn is clean and spacious with a lovely arena to exercise your horse(s), and I joked with my daughter that it would be a great place to get stuck for a few more days (we were heading for Colorado during the flooding). Our beds were super comfortable, and everything clean and cozy. There is a hot tub out on the deck, and Diane even shared her delicious homemade soup with us since we didn't want to unhook our horse trailer during the heavy rain, and hadn't eaten all day. I can't say enough good about our experience. Both my daughter and I would rate her hospitality and the accomodations with A+++. Places like this B&B are few and far between, and definitely worth planning for if you are hauling through southern Wyoming. Next time we will stay longer!!!". . . (10/13/13) - "A great place to stay! We had three old horses making their way from Reno, Nevada to Missouri for retirement pasture. We stopped at Cowgirls for the night and our horses had a great turnout, and we had an AWESOME room! The accommodations are perfect for horses and people! They have a huge indoor arena and the stalls are clean, large and safe. We decided to bring one horse back to Reno with us, and ended up staying again on our return trip, which was just as enjoyable. Their guest room is totally awesome, quiet and serene. This is a great place to stay, and Diane and Pam are just awesome folks. Thanks again!". . . (12/12/13) - "Diane was very accommodating. It was -18° when we arrived; no problem. The B and B was super.". . . (5/28/14) - "My friend and I with 2 horses and two dogs stayed there September, 2011. (The owners called to check on us we were so late). Very nice and very clean. We arrived late due to a blown tire and left early. Host was nice, stalls were huge.". . . (9/12/14) - "Beautiful place. The room is awesome. Very convenient to highway and also to town. Highly recommend this place.". . . (10/14/14) - "Supreme place; clean and safe. Great people and a perfect place to layover. We will be back. Five stars from us.". . . (10/21/14) - "Another great stay, met some other nice people staying there the same night. My dog was welcome as well, beautiful shower and super comfortable bed.". . . (7/7/15) - "We arrived just as a storm was about to blow through so we had to keep our horses in stalls with no turnout. (It was either that or a paddock with no shelter.) Despite that, the barn and stalls were extremely clean and secure. The accommodations were quite comfortable and clean. Diane was an especially gracious host -- and their kitchen is gorgeous.". . . (0/8/15) - "We liked it so much we came back on the return trip! Very clean facility with access to turnout. Great communication. Thanks!". . . (11/16/15) - "Great stop over along highway 80 for horses, humans and doggie friends. The barn was cozy and inviting and safe for the horses. The b & b was clean and warm & Diane and Pam made us feel right at home. Our dogs were even welcome in our room, which was an added benefit. Thank you!!!!". . . (5/23/16) - "We overnighted with Diane and Pam. Very nice facilities, safe areas for horses, with soft dirt footing. The B & B for humans (in the house) was absolutely lovely. Our dogs were welcome in the home, which was a must for us. Our horses were very relaxed, loved the soft footing, and felt very at ease. There is some grass around the facilities if you want to hand-graze, but otherwise pens were soft dirt. In our corral, which was quite large to accommodate our 3 horses, there was no covered shelter, but it was against the barn and indoor arena, so the windbreak was fine! Our guys loved being out and able to stretch their legs/rest in the sun/roll in the soft sand. This was our last stop on a long cross-country trip, and we were overwhelmed with hospitality from Diane-it was a welcome and much needed overnight stay to rest. Very safe and secure. We plan to stay here again when we visit Laramie. Highly, highly, recommended.". . . (6/13/16) - "A fabulous place to stay!! Friendly hosts and great facilities. I especially appreciated that health certs and coggins were checked on each horse before entry. I would recommend them and will definitely stay there again."

Comments: (4/1/14) - "We were a party of seven with 7 horses and 4 rigs. We stayed for several days in the summer of 2013. Darrell and Bonnie couldn't be better hosts.. The facilities were great for us and our horses. We could use the campgrounds stock trailers to haul to the mountains rather than move our living quarters. Darrell was able to steer us toward the best areas to ride. We hope to return again."
