(Editor's Comments): Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.)
(10/10/14) - "I cannot say enough good things about this place! Our hosts, John and Eileen, were some of the kindest people I have ever encountered. John waited for us at the BP in his vehicle so when we came off the interstate at 10pm we could follow him to their place. When we arrived, Eileen was waiting for us and welcomed us and our 2 horses. We had the option of stalls or complete pasture turn out and we opted for turn out since our horses had been trailered for 14 hours that day. Our hosts hooked my RV up to power and water and helped me clean out my trailer. They made sure we were settled and had everything we needed before they went to their home, and that was late! Our night was like heaven, slept so peacefuly not at all worried about a thing. In the morning they were out and available to help me unhook and load up. Once again, John helped me out of the neighborhood by letting me follow him. John and Eileen were like having my parents there to help me, and I am a grown wo man! They were the best hosts I could ask for. I would recommend this place to any equine traveler in Georgia. The horses loved the place as much as we did.". . . (3/8/16) - "This was a great layover facility and we would definitely recommend it to any travelers in the area. The stalls were large, cleanly bedded with 2 fresh buckets of water. The property was large with plenty of room to maneuver our 6 horse head to head around. Both owners, John and Eileen, were there to greet us even though it was a late arrival. They helped us get horses settled in and brought the tractor around so we could clean our trailer out. Eileen checked on horses and re-filled water buckets after we left for the night! She was also up at 5:30 a.m. to help us feed and see us off. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants only 5 minutes from the barn. If you are in the area don't hesitate to stop here and rest for the night. Thanks again John and Eileen. Your help was much appreciated.". . . (11/1/16) - "Could not say enough with the hospitality!! Wow.. I did not want to leave myself. Would highly recommend to anyone passing this way. They went out of their way to make it very relaxing and help us with the horses. Recommend also to stay there. We slept well; had our privacy. Top Notch People!!". . . (5/22/21) - "I highly recommend John and Eileen’s facility! Easy access, friendly hosts, nice barn/paddocks, and beautiful views.". . . (3/3/22) - "John and Eileen were amazing! Very friendly, and met us upon arrival. Went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we and our horses were comfortable for the night. Would definitely stay there again.". . . (11/5/23) - "Great hosts. Easy access to interstate 75. Stalls or paddocks available. We used paddocks. Grounds are immaculate. Very relaxing place to break up your travel. This is our 3rd visit."

Comments: (9/29/21) - "We stayed overnight twice this summer on our trips between Fl and NC. Awesome place to stay with our horse and 4 dogs. The owner is a problem solver with local connections should you have any issues while traveling. I can't say enough nice things about this beautiful spot so close to I-95 for easy access but at the same time so remote that you can relax and recharge for the next day on the road.". . . (3/21/22) - "While stranded on I-95, with my two horses in haul, I went on Horse Motel and called the number listed for Shady Oak Stables in hopes to get somewhere for my horse's to sleep for the night. But the wonderful owner exceeded my expectations and not only opened her facility to me, she dropped what she was doing to come hook up to my trailer on the side of the interstate in the dark and drive me and my horses (3 horse LQ gooseneck trailer) off the side of the interstate to her farm. Absolutely hands down one of the nicest people I've ever met and hospitality was outstanding while always trying to accommodate our needs. Even gave me a ride to the mechanic shop to go pick up my truck when it was done. Not to mention- the facility was absolutely GORGEOUS.". . . (8/22/22) - "Great turnout and stall and was a gated area so safety was great. Was very open and was very accommodating for a few hour's notice to allow us to be able to stay for the night on our long journey. This place was fantastic.". . . (9/14/22) - "The owner, Wendy, is terrific! The facility is excellent. I highly recommend staying here.". . . (9/29/23) - "Absolutely exceeded my expectations! Wendy is such a wonderful host. Private, clean, and safe.". . . (11/27/23) - "Wendy was a life saver. I was stranded after not making it through the Florida AG Inspection so she put me and my 2 horses up for 2 days. Absolutely will always stop here if needed on my way from Maryland to Florida."

Comments: (2/5/23) - "Kelli was super sweet and waiting on us to get there to make sure we and the horses had everything needed. Great place to stop and stay, easy access in and out for large rigs! We’ll definitely be back when in the area!". . . (10/30/23) - "I HIGHLY recommend this layover! It’s TRULY big rig friendly. Kelli was absolutely fantastic and helpful. The stalls are safe and clean with good bedding, auto waterers and you can pull your rig right up to the barn. Bonus points for the barn having a bathroom. The intersection at the exit off of the interstate has a Flying J, Loves, and a TA with a Starbucks inside. I cannot recommend this layover enough.". . . (11/6/23) - "My wife and I do combine driving and therefore have two rigs with us. My rig is 66 feet long. It is a Sport Chassis truck with a 46 foot gooseneck carriage trailer and living quarters. My wife drives a six horse head to head with a 350 Ford we have been stopping at Kelli Jordan‘s place for many years; at least 10 or maybe 15 years. She is absolutely wonderful ,will go out of her way to help you and she has great staff. The barn is clean and stalls are always ready. Exit 29 a short distance and one turn ,you are there. It’s the best place I know of to overnight.". . . (3/5/24) - "Kelli was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us all details upon arrival and it was a comfortable place to overnight.". . . (3/7/24) - "Very clean facility. We were allowed to put our horses in the outdoor arena to stretch their legs before putting them in clean stalls for the night. We were not required to clean the stalls when we left."

(Editor's Comments): Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.)
(9/14/17) - "Melody and Joe Pratt are warm, welcoming hosts. The barn was big and beautiful, stalls were sturdy, safe and spacious. They were matted and covered in shavings. The paddocks were large and safe. Living quarters, attached to the barn with convenient access to our horses, were clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and much appreciated after the stress of outrunning the storm. There was plenty of room to park the trailer. Feed stores, restaurants, grocery stores were all within easy reach. Both Melody and Joe were attentive. We had a very positive experience staying with this family for a week and would highly recommend them for travelers and their horses.". . . (7/25/18) - "Highly recommend.". . . (11/2/18) - "Excellent facility, highly recommend.". . . (10/11/20) - "Stayed on 10/09/2020. Stall had clean shavings on arrival and hosts kept in contact and sent detail instructions where everything is. Facility is nice and peaceful. Only negative is it's not easy to get in/out with larger rigs as there is no pull through and you will need to back out. If it is dark, that can be a challenge. The host, Joe, will help you back out, since he's familiar with the property.". . . (5/22/21) - "Very nice people, large clean stall and lovely grounds. I stayed in their apartment and it was super cute, very comfortable and had all the amenities that a hotel room would have.". . . (7/8/22) - "Exodus Ranch is a picture perfect place to stop with your horses. We asked for turnout for our four and were given a beautiful, well fenced pasture. The entry to the facility is a little tight for a big rig (our trailer is 36ft) but there's plenty of room to trun aroun once there. Hotel options in the area were pretty bad but Exodus was worth the stop.". . . (12/6/22) - "100% great!! We'll remember to book here again if in the area!!". . . (10/17/23) - "A very nice place with big 12' x 12' stalls for the horses. Friendly and helpful staff. If you reserve a stall then there may not be any turnout available. It's a bit close to Atlanta and the traffic but otherwise a nice place to overnight. Plenty of restaurants close by."

Would definitely recommend!". . . (12/29/23) - "My horse and mini had a multiple day stay. I was impressed with the safety of the fencing, stalls and gates. Wendy is an experienced horse person, so friendly and accommodating and easy to stay in touch with. The trailer pull through made loading/ unloading a breeze. I am super picky about my horse accommodations and I can confidently recommend Raise A Glass Ranch! 5/5 stars for sure!"

Comments: (10/11/23) - "Steve and his entire family were incredibly kind and gracious the moment we pulled into their driveway all the way to the moment we left. The conversations were great and the farm was nothing shy of peaceful. My horse was completely relaxed as were we in our travel trailer with electric and water hookups. I would 1000% choose this farm and family to stay with again if ever the opportunity arises. You won't find a more down-to-earth farm than this one right here in Guyton!". . . (11/24/23) - "Stopped here for an overnight en route to Florida. Guyton was about 20 minutes from the interstate but an easy drive. Owner sent me a video of arrival to the driveway - the driveways all look the same along that stretch - which made it incredibly easy to spot and turn in. Farm set back off the road, large area to turn around in, nice tidy barn with well-bedded stalls. Easy hook up. Nice family that was very welcoming. Highly recommend this as an overnight location.". . . (3/5/24) - "Stopped here on the way to Florida and again coming home. Owner, Steve and family, were just great and so friendly. Very nice barn and large turnout, which we used for our 2 horses. Large turnaround area for trailers. Water and electricity available for our LQ. Quiet and peaceful farm off the highway. Will definitely stop here again when traveling I-95 going to Florida."

My filly had a big stall with shavings, rubber mats and fans. There arena and round pen had wonderful footing. Nice bathroom in he barn and we had full use of a shower and kitchen. It was peaceful sitting by the pond with a lighted fountain watching the ducks. We even sat in the gazebo and watched some dressage. Stunning !!! Absolutely loved this place!". . . (9/20/20) - "We stayed with Alice at the beginning of our trip 06/08/20 and at the end 09/20/20. Huge stalls, deep shavings, awesome hospitality. We hooked up or LQ and were very secure. Jump ring, dressage ring, round pen...allowed us to exercise and stretch our horses legs after riding in the trailer. HORSETOWN, USA is right around the corner and nice restaurants in town. Very happy with our stays and would highly recommend. We have a long trailer, 38 ft on roof, and no problem getting in there. Call to get best directions since you have to cross a RR track.". . . (2/28/21) - "Really nice farm. Alice was super nice. The stalls were large, well bedded and had two water buckets already filled when we arrived. Excellent experience.". . . (4/6/21) - "Loved our stay here. Very clean, large, generously bedded stalls. 10/10.". . . (4/19/22) - "Easy to get to. Host was friendly and available upon arrival. Good size stalls. And close food. Good electric and water hookup for our LQ and circle drive makes it easy to get in and out.". . . (5/7/22) - "Perfect location just south of Atlanta!". . . (3/21/23) - "Spent one night here on our way home from Florida. Farm was easy to get to from the interstate. Long driveway and ample turn around to park our trailer. Stalls were very well bedded and LARGE!! Water was already in place. Able to pay with Venmo was convenient. Farm was tidy and clean. Will definitely use this site again.". . . (5/12/23) - "Easy access from Interstate 75 and hotels and food. Large clean stalls. Have stayed here several times on our way from WI to FL and back. Thank you Alice and Family."

Comments: (5/29/15) - "We were VERY pleased with our stay! The barn was very clean and safe, new big stalls with turnout options, automatic water, 24 hour camera monitoring, it has a huge pretty RV park with cabins available that were awesome!". . . (7/25/16) - "We pulled in a couple hours after the office closed. We called to let them know we would be late and they said to just call the barn manager. We called him on the way and he was just great. We called again as we got off the fwy and he was waiting at the entrance for us. He took us to the barn and made sure my horse was settled and then took us to the cabin we were staying in. Such a nice facility! They have camp grounds and cabins. The barn is brand new, and is very nice!". . . (11/27/16) - "Wonderful facility for our horses. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.". . . (5/7/21) - "Very accommodating. excellent staff and facility. Would recommend.". . . (6/10/23) - "Hauling 3 Clydesdales and 2 quarter horses is no easy task. Georgia Horse Stables made it as easy as can be. Easy access to the highway, friendly staff, more than adequate facilities, and willingness to accommodate special requests make this an excellent place to stay on the next adventure. Highly recommend."

Comments: (10/17/09) - "Very good place to overnight.". . . (12/24/13) - "Awesome place to overnight. Will stay here again. Cathy was very helpful and super friendly. We have a very long trailer with living quarters and there was plenty of room to maneuver without backing in the dark. Water and electric are available for RV hookup. Very nice stalls. Thanks again Cathy! Mark and Marie.". . . (9/28/14) - "I would stay here everytime I travel north. Cathy was a sweetheart. Her hospitality went above and beyond. The stalls were clean and safe. The RV hookup was right beside the barn which was lit all night long. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's gorgeous and easy to find.". . . (7/7/19) - "I wasn't planning on stopping for the night yet, but plans changed last minute. Mike was super nice and helpful. He gladly prepared 2 stalls right away. He took excellent care of my horses while I stayed at a motel 10 mins away. Then I had a minor truck issue the next morning causing me to get back to my horses later than expected. He gladly took care of them for me until I was able to return. The horses easily settled in and had even laid down. They too were very tired from the long trip, yet felt comfortable and safe to lie down. I would definitely stay here again.". . . (11/20/21) - "They were accommodating on last minute notice. Our one horse was a bit cramped in box stall as he is huge. We did not go see the arena but it was available if we had time to turn them out for a stretch. Bring your hay bags and buckets.". . . (8/24/23) - "Had a late start, they were very easy to deal with, had the stalls ready, had a drop box. Very easy and enjoyable stay. Horses had a very nice stall already ready for us upon arrival. Highly recommend this location for your horse to stay."

Comments: (6/1/17) - "Great Facility. So nice we stayed an extra day and did a super trail ride with David and Myrna.". . . (3/27/19) - "Best stay I have had at one of these overnight stops. The owners were very accommodating to me arriving at night and helpful unloading at settling the horses after dark. They are extremely friendly and make you feel like you are just part of the family. They will look after your horses like their own. Very beautiful farm with great pastures and secure fences for horses to stretch their legs on a long trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through! :)". . . (1/15/20) - "We have used this motel as a layover on our way to Florida several times. David and Myrna are wonderful hosts. Beautiful property. Big paddock. Lots of privacy. On one trip we had trailer electrical problems when we arrived. David was incredibly helpful locating a local RV repair person late on a Friday afternoon. Amazing service! We highly recommend this horse motel. One of the best we have visited.". . . (1/21/20) - "Besides the fact that this place is a little jewel of the east coast that is soaked in history, it will also satisfy every particular horse owner that chooses to stay at this lovely farm, wether it is an overnight or a weekend. Lots of space for horses with different needs and the most hospitable hosts that keep this facility in pristine condition. Highly recommend.". . . (11/8/20) - "Beautiful historical farm, lots of room and friendly host! 5 stars!". . . (2/12/21) - "We have used horsemotels many times all over the country. This facility ranks at the top of our list for great people and quiet family atmosphere. David went out of his way to help us while we were traveling through inclement weather in Texas heading to NC, putting us way behind schedule. Beautiful location,we plan to stop here again. I highly recommend this location.". . . (11/6/21) - "David and Myrna are some of the most welcoming and gracious hosts you will ever meet. Their farm is beautiful and so easy to get to. There is plenty of parking for big rigs and easy access to hook ups. The pastures are well kept and well fenced and the barn is splendid. I highly recommend this place. It is also a part of our American history and has a historic bunkhouse to rent.". . . (11/12/22) - "Dave and Myrna Moore are wonderful, gracious hosts. The farm is immaculately maintained and there is also much history to discover here. We had a choice of pasture, paddock, stalls and all are beautifully maintained. The longhorns and donkeys just add to the overall atmosphere of peace and contentment. We very highly recommend this horse hotel and will definitely return again. It is on our list as A+!!!". . . (11/14/22) - "My mom and I stayed here last minute on a trip from Texas to North Carolina to pick up some horses. Mr. David was fantastic! It was, unfortunately, 1130pm when we pulled in. "Im sorry it was so late Mr. David!" He met us at the entrance, flashlight in hand in 30 degree weather and helped us get parked in the dark. We didn't have horses yet so did not use the horse facilities but I do not doubt they are just as nice as the rest of the place. If we come out this way again, we would definitely stay here.". . . (3/11/23) - "Wow! This place is above and beyond spectacular! 5 stars and highly recommend. What a gem. Easy access, everything you need. Beautiful paddocks, water, just gorgeous! Amazing hosts!". . . (3/15/23) - "Cedar Rock Farm and David are incredible. This will be a must return stop for me. Very clean, easy to get in and out of. My horse had his very own pasture and I did not need the beautiful stalls that were available. Don't hesitate to book here. It's a gem!". . . (12/7/23) - "My kind of layover! Quiet, restful, secure and best of all, my horse has a safely fenced grass paddock to just go "be a horse" after a long day in the trailer. Host met me at the top of the drive and showed me back to a level site right next to my corral and paddock. A nice barn is also available in case of bad weather. Plenty of room to maneuver my rig. Beautiful facility on a historic family farm."

Comments: (5/23/15) - "This is a wonderful facility! It is great for travelers with just a few horses. Very secure, extremely clean and well kept. Very helpful and accommodating. They ordered a pizza for me upon arrival, by the time I had the horse settled in and the truck unpacked, the pizza was there. The apartment was 5 feet from the stall, so nightly check was super easy. Immaculate doesn't begin to describe the apartment! Beautiful accommodations, direct TV and a very comfy pull out KING size bed. They even helped load a horse with trouble loading in the morning. Could not ask for anything else, except more stalls when I come thru with more horses next time! Thank you so much, Pamela/Double B Equine Transport.". . . (10/14/15) - "I'm not sure if I can say enough good things about this place after our now, second stay here. The horse amenities are immaculate, your horse is literally right outside your bedroom window in either a nice stall or grass paddock. The apartment is more than ideal in a relaxing setting, and the owners are very accommodating. I give it a 5 star rating!". . . (12/22/15) - "It was wonderful; we arrived a bit late due to a flat and they were very accommodating. Having the apartment across from the stalls made it so easy to check on the horses throughout the night and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

Comments: (5/27/02) - "My husband and I had our large LQ trailer and we were able to park right next to the barn and have full hook-ups. The owners were more then friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay for a traveler with horses.". . .(6/17/05) - "Very nice people, large clean stalls and easy to access.". . . (11/9/10) - "Nancy and her husband were so welcoming. I would use them again if I ever needed to. My horse was welcomed with bedded stall and fresh water. Thank you so very much for everything."(10/31/11) - "Nancy and hubby were very welcoming to us especially since we were not expected due to a scheduling hiccup. Box stalls were well maintained. Turn out is available. A bit of a drive back to lodgings and food (exit 16), however, well worth it.". . . (2/9/15) - "The owners were excellent hosts and met us at the end of the stable driveway with a flashlight! Very kind. I would use their service again.". . . (10/4/15) - "Just what we needed!!". . . (10/11/18) - "Nancy accommodated us with only 1 hour notice when we had to re-route due to Hurricane Florence. We were able to plug in and stay overnight next to the barn. Will definitely stay there again."
