Comments: (5/14/23) - "This was a perfect place to stay; easy access, horse stalls with runs were just right for horses to stretch their legs and very safe. Host was extremely nice and accommodating. Helped make sure we were all situated and satisfied, then left us so we could have peace and quiet and get rest."

Comments: (4/13/13) - "We stayed here with our 2 horses several times. There was a bit of a rough transition from the old owners to the new ones but things are in full swing once again and the ranch looks great! Jackie was professional, very friendly and went the extra mile, however, when we saw this rather large, broad shouldered man with a mohawk haircut coming toward us, I must say we were initially a little nervous but the second he introduced himself "hi, I'm Reggie, Jackie's Husband" we were instantly at ease. He is a big teddy bear with a mohawk that will go out of his way to make sure you are settled in so don't let his appearance fool you!! I told him that the place looks great and he said that bigger things were to come, that they were going to make the property into an "oasis of a ranch", and I did not for one second doubt his passion when he said it. Jackie and Reggie are awesome!! I will be back again...if there is room!". . . (11/11/15) - "Stayed at Steel Horse Ranch during a very severe thunderstorm and they took tremendous care of us. The stalls were great, two stalls with outdoor runs. Power for our LQ trailer. A little tight getting the LQ around the driveway but we got it done. They were good hosts and I would stay there again!". . . (6/6/16) - "We showed up after a long drive, Jackie came out and met us right away. We felt sooooo comfortable and secure at this horse motel that we decided to stay in our living quarters rather than a hotel. When we were settling in, Reggie came out and helped us with trailer hook up and chatted for a while. What a great couple, what a great property!! 5 stars all day, every day! We will stop over EVERY time we are passing through Las Vegas. Thank You Steel Horse Ranch!". . . (6/23/19) - "This is a great stop for over the road haulers and people coming through needing a place to bed down for the night. Clean and super quiet! The grounds are well kept and she has a lot of different styles of stall for the horse. We got in around 10pm and she was waiting at the gate for us and stayed till we were settled! Our rig is 65 feet long and we backed into the gate with no issues and everyone was comfortable and safe!! Will stay again for sure 5 stars!!". . . (5/5/22) - "1) My horse's pipe stall was tied together with bailing twine, which was not safe, I had to add my own chains to secure the panels. Also a ladder and discarded fence rails where leaning against the pipe stall my horse was in. 2) When I reported that there was a horse loose on the property all night, the response was "I know". This loose horse was able to come nose to nose with my horse . . . 3) Overall fencing around property was poor. 4) Location of where I parked my trailer was next to several very large piles of construction trash.". . . (2/7/24) - "Facility was unkept with several boards with nails around the stall and overnight area. Super unsafe. The narrow driveway was inaccessible to anything larger than a 3 horse BP. The stalls were unkept with bolts in stall where horse could get hurt."

Comments: (8/22/22) - "Super friendly folks and great amenities. Will be recommending them to friends.". . . (11/23/22) - "The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They are in a quiet, safe location. Stalls were clean and secure. Our horses seemed comfortable and relaxed during their stay. We would definitely use this facility again in the future if we are in the area. Would highly recommend to others.". . . (12/15/22) - "We arrived extremely early in the morning, they were up and ready for us. Communication was top notch from the time we booked until we completed our stay. They cared for our horses as if they owned them. Nice covered big stalls. Such a welcoming and friendly environment. Definitely would use them again!!!". . . (12/21/22) - "Love the place. Wonderful place to stay!". . . (12/21/22) - "Highly recommend this Horse Hotel! Kim, the owner and her family were amazing. She would send us pictures of our horses and give texts on how the horses were doing. Stalls were kept clean at all times. Definitely will stay here again and recommend her ranch to all of our equine friends." . . (12/21/22) - "Great facilities, easy access, and friendly care.". . . (12/22/22) - "We stayed with Hearts and Stars horse motel in December of 2022 and absolutely loved our stay! They were so kind and easy to work with. What I loved most about this horse motel was how the owner didn't over book herself and try cramming tons of people on her property. She keeps the gates to her property closed for extra security. Our stall was clean and water bucket sanitized before we arrived, large outdoor sand arena for my horse to stretch after a long haul and amazingly nice people who honestly care about your horses well being. She even said she would check on the horses throughout the day and night to ensure everyone was safe and happy. I loved staying here and will definitely stay here again the next time we pass through Vegas. They even have an adorable little herd of bunnies on the property that none of the horses lodging seemed to mind.". . . (1/11/23) - "Kim was beyond wonderful!!! Highly recommend!". . . (2/8/23) - "I boarded my horse for one night on January 22, 2023. He was upset about the long trailer ride and hadn’t been drinking any water. Our host, Kim, gave him a lot of attention and checked on him often once I left for my own hotel. She made my horse feel safe and he drank a bunch of water overnight before we had to pack up and leave for a third day of travel. Kim even texted me to let me know he was doing well. I highly recommend this place.". . . (11/2/23) - "I had a great stay with Kim at her place, Hearts and Stars. She and her husband were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Facilities had everything we needed including an arena to ride in. Will definitely stay with them again!". . . (10/31/23) - "Melinda has a boarding and an event/jumper training facility. Very clean barn/stalls with fans, water and hay was furnished, they cleaned stalls when we left. Horses were secure and happy, let us get a good nights rest in our trailer. Great place to lay over.". . . (12/19/23) -This is one of the best facilities we have ever stayed at. The communication was amazing, very welcoming, and helpful. Facilities are quiet, secure/safe, well fenced and gates are always closed. Nice stalls that are spacious and clean. There is an arena to ride in. My horses were happy and could rest. The owners are amazing people! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this facility ". . . (12/21/23) - "Absolutely amazing place to stay. Not only did our horses have nice pens but the people are the best. We enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely be back.". . . (3/17/24) - "Kim and her daughter were great hosts. We chose Hearts & Stars for our layover to Arizona and we stayed out and back. Stalls were good size, sheltered and in a quiet location yet close to our hotel and riding in the area. Would stay there again."

Comments: (6/27/14) - "Jim & Jeannie were great hosts. We arrived after a very long day and we were treated to a wonderful dinner!! Jeannie makes a mean breakfast! Our horses were very comfortable and relaxed. Our stay was great. We highly recommend N2 Mules Ranch for all your overnight stabling needs. Thanks for everything Jim & Jeannie.". . . (7/9/14) - "N2 Mule Ranch is a wonderful place to stay. I can't say enough. My fiance & I have stayed twice so far this summer during roping competitions. We would have liked to have been closer, but it was well worth the drive! Jeannie & Jim keep the place immaculate & horses were always watered and safe. We would never stay anywhere else if we came back, & would highly recommend this place to anyone. The meals served each day were delicious & everything about the place is simply amazing!!". . . (11/8/14) - "Jeannie and Jim are fantastic hosts. Our horses had a large pasture to roam in and great RV hook up. We will stop there again soon.". . . (11/16/15) - "Excellent place to stay!! Jim & Jeannie were very welcoming & knowledgeable. They even set up a cozy stall for our dogs to feel welcome. Jeannie created a breakfast of champions and even included some homemade zucchini bread. We also enjoyed our fresh honey they helped us to acquire from the neighboring ranch!!! Thank you!!!". . . (4/19/16) - "Jim and Jeannie were super! Great place to layover. Clean stalls, clean cabin, and great food. Will definitely stay again.". . . (5/24/16) - "Loved this ranch! Very fun stay. The owners are so nice. Very clean beautiful setting. Our horses loved it also. We will go back.". . . (9/5/16) - "I traveled from Michigan to Reno solely for the purpose of trail riding and visiting local attractions. Jeannie was more than an outstanding host. She became a very dear friend. She goes out of her way to be extraordinarily accommodating and is a wonderful, warm person. The facilities are excellent; and she provides ample hay for her horse guests. She is an outstanding cook and frequently shares her home with her guests. I very sincerely will miss her and highly recommend her and her facility.". . . (10/19/18) - "Jeannie was incredible and accommodating! We broke down on the way and she and her ranch hand came and got our horse trailer and were so helpful! We even had to stay an extra night and were made to feel so welcome. Jeanny has a pack of dogs and cats but all were very friendly and made my two little ones very welcome.". . . (5/2/19) - "Very nice and well kept. The host was welcoming and friendly. A bit of a drive from town, but worth the drive. Affordable. I will definitely use this facility again if I am ever in the area.". . . (5/16/22) - "Excellent place, will be back next year!!!". . . (10/20/23) - "One of the best horse motels I've stayed at. Jeannie is terrfic. Everything was better than described. It was perfect. After a very long drive and getting in way later than anticipated, Jeannie was so nice and made sure everything was great. She even brought us breakfast the next morning! Will stay again!"

Comments: (5/8/18) - "This place was so convenient to stop at on our drive from AZ-OR. The actual address is 660 S Shoshone Ave!". . . (10/31/18) - "This place was dirty, outside stalls did not look clean, many were overgrown. This is a place that basically does the bare minimum. It's cheap and the caretaker was very nice.". . . (6/28/20) - "On our second day traveling from CA to MI, our first choice was not open, the second place we stopped at was dirty and full of broken glass. After driving an extra two hours we found B-M arena. The owner was kind despite our last-minute late call. The stalls were clean and secure. Thank you!". . . (5/25/21) - "Great place to stop.". . . (10/9/22) - "The arena is a good stopping point - easy to get to; close to the freeway and several gas stations; and at an intersection of 2 highways. It is not a gated location, but is in a quiet location and I felt safe. The owners did not come out to greet me, but were readily accessible by phone. Unknown if close to town because I didn’t leave the arena during my stay.". . . (7/7/23) - "I've stayed here before. The host is nice and helpful. The stable is old and dirty. This year it was dirtier than previously. I wish they would clean up the stalls and fix the broken parts. Not sure I'll stay here next year."
