I was given Judy's name and farm many years ago as a great place to stay....I have never been disappointed! The farm is beautiful, it feels so much like home, is peaceful and very quiet yet close to all conveniences. Judy always greets us with smiles and hugs, has a great meal and good conversation waiting and always wants to know all about our horse travels and adventures. Her facility and horses are eye candy for sure! Rooms and stalls both are spacious and relaxing for humans and horses! Comments: (12/3109) - "This is the perfect place for both rider and mount. Tara and John have provided a private grassy paddock just three steps from the porch of the carriage house. We could sit on the porch or in the suite and watch our horses graze peacefully just a few feet away. The stalls are roomy and clean with rubber mats and pelleted bedding. The owners' horses, while close, don't come in contact with our horses because they are in their own pasture. The icing on the cake was the beautifully decorated suite itself and the three-course breakfast in the morning."

Traveling from VA to MA with our horse, decided to split the trip into 2 days and overnighted in Grantville, PA. Heidi, the owner, was very welcoming and made us feel like we had known her for years. The property was gorgeous! Barn was immaculate! Pastures beautiful! Large box stalls, nicely bedded. Choice was given for type of hay. Space to park trailer. Very accommodating! Close to many hotels and places to eat within a few miles. Right off the highway which made it super easy for travel purposes. Heidi checked in with us at night check time and then again first thing in the morning. Sent pics of our horse who was looking very content and well rested. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this farm if traveling through the area!". . . (12/6/21) - "Bella View Farm is an ideal place to stop overnight if you are hauling on Route 81. Very close to an exit and the farm actually borders Route 81. Our horses stayed outside so didn't pay attention to the stalls. The paddocks the horses were in were large and they had clean water. Host was very flexible on paddock arrangements.". . . Big stalls, impeccably clean and smells great too! The hay quality is outstanding. Easy commute to and off highway. And lastly, Heidi was open to a late drop off and early pick up... I couldn't say nicer things about this barn. This is now our forever halfway stopping point on our long drives. 10 stars!". . . (2/21/24) - "I highly recommend this stable for a layover. It is very conveniently located off of I-81. Heidi is a great communicator. She helped me unload the horses and is an excellent and experienced horseman. The stalls were impeccable with fresh water and high quality hay. She checked on the horses for late night and I felt very comfortable with them in her stable for the night. This will be our go to stable for layovers."

Karen gave us very specific directions to get us to the farm easily after dark, which was so helpful after 8 hours on the road. She and Michael met us and made certain that our horse was all squared away in his clean, freshly bedded stall in their cozy barn. Easy turn around for any size trailer, even at night. Karen gave us some recommendations for dinner and there are many restaurants and hotels less than 10 minutes away. Michael was there in the morning to see us off and even offered to help us load in the event that our horse did not want to leave this lovely place.Wonderful place, wonderful people, we would definitely stay there again. (6/28/17) - "We stopped by Shady Springs Farm on our way to a 120 km FEI endurance event and were pleasantly surprised by the absolute quality of the facilities. The pastures were beautifully fenced with lush grass, perfect for recovering the horses after the long trailer ride. The automatic waterers in the paddocks and stalls were a wonderful addition to the already high quality facility, and the stalls themselves were large and in an enclosed barn and had a nice drainage setup. The stalls were wood with iron bars on the upper half, very meticulously planned and kept. Not to mention the icing on the cake-- the view alone would be worth a return trip with the mountains encircling the farm and rolling hills creating a rustic picture of perfection. Barb and Tony were so helpful, giving us specific directions to the farm that got us right in the driveway and answering questions and being easilly reachable and welcoming. It's also nice to stay in a place where I got 5 bars of cell signal.". . . (5/13/22) - "We loved it and will go back again!". . . (7/25/22) - "Absolutely beautiful facility!
